Is Everybody Happy?

Apparently most of us are quite content with the salary we receive. Over 81% of the respondents indicated they were either satisfied or very satisfied with their compensation.

However, the source of the satisfaction or dissatisfaction varied widely based on experience, education, and management responsibility. And what seemed to be great compensation for some was a drop in the bucket for others. Of the very dissatisfied, their salaries ranged from $25,000 to $100,000 per year and averaged $50,000. The very satisfied had salaries that ranged from $28,000 to $135,000 per year and averaged $66,000. Only one of the hourly workers selected very dissatisfied.
