Since its inception in 1993, the annual conference sponsored by WritersUA has been the premiere gathering for software user assistance professionals. A popular component of the Conference is the Peer Showcase. The Showcase features live demonstrations of completed user assistance systems developed by people from around the world. Last year, representatives from fifteen organizations were on hand to speak with conference attendees one-on-one in an informal and fun atmosphere. The 2012 Conference takes place March 11^th - March 14^th in Memphis, Tennessee.

In preparation for the 2012 event, we are inviting you to submit a proposal for presenting your project. This is a great opportunity to show off your work and gain valuable feedback from your peers.

How It Works

Adjacent to the meeting rooms will be a special section for you and your peers to show off your work. You receive your own table and a monitor and there is a broadband Internet wi-fi connection. You will be expected to bring your user assistance system and any associated application on your own laptop computer.

The Showcase will be open for two hours on the Wednesday of the Conference and you will be expected to be at your table during those times. The Showcase might overlap some of the other Conference sessions.

As a Peer Showcase presenter you receive a complimentary conference registration - a value of $1,000! This does not include optional Sunday seminars.

Showcase Proposal

Our proposal process is informal and easy—no forms! Send us a detailed description of your project and company as well as some information about yourself. Please include your work phone number. All software platforms are of interest.
