Axure RP 5.5 is Now Available

Custom widget libraries are here!

San Diego, CA - March 11, 2009 - Axure RP 5.5 has some exciting new features and functionality. This release adds the ability to create custom widget libraries, new interaction capabilities for high fidelity prototyping, and features to help you work more efficiently:

Custom widgets: Ability to create and share libraries of design patterns. Learn more.
New interactions: Set Focus on Widget, Bring Panel(s) to Front, Set Widgets to Selected State(s) and create animations using the Advanced Editor. Learn more.
Other enhancements: A tool to manage your dynamic panels, Preserve Corners feature for images, edit MouseDown and Selected styles for buttons and much more. Learn more.

Important Information

Is this a free update? If you purchased Axure RP or a renewal after February 1, 2008 version 5.5 will be a free update. All other customers will need to purchase a renewal to upgrade. You can login to the customer portal to see when your maintenance period expires.

Version compatibility: Files created in version 5.5 will not open in previous versions of Axure RP. Version 5.5 will convert files created in previous versions to the new format.
