Announcing TechComm Toolbox: A One-stop Website that Lists Applications Organized in an Easy-to-Find Format

Until now, technical communication practitioners lacked a comprehensive resource with information about applications, services, consultants, and trainers with specialization in the technical communication industry. TechComm Toolbox solves this problem with an easy-to-use website.

TechComm Toolbox enables visitors to view listings by category or alphabetically, includes full-text search for specific entries, and encourages end-users to comment on their experiences. Anyone (including companies that provide applications or services) is welcome to submit their favorite application or service to TechComm Toolbox. Base listings are free and include company name, application name or contact, and website URL. Enhanced listings are available for a monthly or annual fee and include opportunities to add more detailed descriptions, logos, or both. Logos automatically appear in search results and listings, and a gold star indicates that more information is available. Sponsored advertising is also available.

The excitement from the community is building as more people begin using TechComm Toolbox. "Like Char, I am often asked about the tools I use and I can now refer colleagues to TechComm Toolbox.
